Gala Sistemas was founded in 1988 by Gabriel Agustín Velázquez Bustamante, with the vision of providing Advice to Companies in the transition of implementing computer systems. These companies put their efforts into bringing out systems that could quickly be made available to the market and not in developing them sufficiently reliable and stable.

Due to this, Gala Sistemas saw the need to concentrate its efforts on developing systems focused on certain specific markets, and thus be able to develop systems that could provide reliability and stability. Without caring about the time that such a task would take, but about the perfection of the system and its quality of architecture. During the first five years, Gala Sistemas was dedicated to consultancy, making some systems, for CANIRAC and for the Bottling Industry, as well as for Copropiedad Rodríguez (a company dedicated to real estate). And serving clients such as La Victoria Embotelladora (Coca Cola), Kyocera (maquiladora) and others.

In 1995 the development for an insurance company called PIA began, during the following 4 years a system was implemented that controlled all the policies generated by its agents and in turn a system that allowed the agents to keep track of their policies. During this period, work was being done in parallel on the development of systems for Hotels, Restaurants, Internet Ticket Sales, Parking Control, System for Dentists, Gas Stations, Gyms and Points of Sale. In the year 2000, it released its first version on the Windows platform for Hotels and Restaurants.
